Structure of Classes

We established our Chinese language classes based on Pinyin and Chinese characters. Pinyin is the official Romanization system for Standard Chinese in China; also, the computer Pinyin inputs methods to enter Chinese characters.

Due to the limited syllables in Mandarin, there are many homophones. In the table underneath, the syllable is "ma", showing the different tones and different meanings. All beginners must learn the Chinese Pinyin table. Not only does it allow beginners to build up their homophones, it also allows them to type Pinyin on a computer or mobile phone and turn it into Chinese characters. It is a very useful tool for writing Chinese.
